On June 2, 2024 at 8 pm , IEEE SPS & IEEE ComSoc Joint SB Chapter,AUST organized their event, with a significant number of participants.This event was hosted by Tasfia Tarannum(Secretary,IEEE SPS & IEEE ComSoc Joint SB Chapter,AUST).

Our prominent keynote speaker, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Mohamed El-Hadidy, Professor of IoT and Digital Communication Technology at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, Germany, shared his invaluable expertise.

The event on “Chipless RFID Systems for Long Range Applications” provided a novel techniques for multi-tag scenarios.This also included physically modulated tags and MAC protocols. A significant portion of the discussion was dedicated to channel modeling in real-world environments, considering multipath channels, focusing especially on managing multipath channels. Additionally, 3D bi-static Radar Cross Section (RCS) simulations were shown to the attendees, showcasing how chipless RFID tags behaved and performed under these difficult circumstances. Moreover, the event presented cutting-edge detection methods that challenge the limits of existing technologies, as well as a useful mathematical framework that offered an improved understanding of RFID system operations. These contributions sparked in-depth discussions, further enriching the learning experience.

Prof. Dr. A K M Baki (Advisor,IEEE SPS & IEEE ComSoc Joint SB Chapter,AUST) were present and conveyed his insights regarding this event.A token of appreciation was given to the speaker, and the event wrapped up with a lively and interactive Q&A session.
