𝗢𝗻 𝟭𝟲 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 , the 𝗜𝗘𝗘𝗘 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿, in collaboration with the IEEE AUST Student Branch; IEEE AUST Student Branch WIE Affinity Group; IEEE SPS and IEEE ComSoc Joint Student Branch Chapter; and the IEEE Electron Devices Society AUST Student Branch Chapter; hosted an inspiring and highly interactive technical talk titled “𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗱𝘀: 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀” held at the 𝗩𝗖 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺, the session captivated a vibrant gathering of participants , uniting passionate students and dedicated faculty members under one roof.

The seminar began with a welcoming speech from 𝗗𝗿. 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗹 (𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿, 𝗜𝗘𝗘𝗘 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 & 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗕 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿) who set the stage with insightful remarks on the growing importance of cybersecurity in modern power systems.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗱. 𝗔𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝗾𝘂𝗲 (𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗿, 𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗧) showed great enthusiasm about ensuring students gain a deeper understanding of this vital field. Meanwhile, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗕𝗼𝗯𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗮 (𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝘁. 𝗘𝗘𝗘, 𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗧) bridging academic research with industry practices to build safer, smarter grids.

Led by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗱𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝘄𝗮𝗿 , 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮, the talk offered a deep dive into pioneering research frontiers, practical cybersecurity challenges, and visionary strategies to safeguard the next generation of power systems. Lively discussions and thoughtful questions turned the event into more than just a lecture, it became a platform for sharing ideas and sparking curiosity.
