Complex integrated circuits that combine a lot of analog components, such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors, on a single chip are known as VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) circuits. They are essential to modern electronics because they allow features like filtering, amplification and signal processing in applications ranging from medical equipment to telecommunications systems. Because many signals in the real world are essentially analog and digital systems frequently need to interface with analog systems, analog circuit design is still crucial in today’s technological environment. The rapid evolution of the semiconductor business and research is primarily due to developments in fields such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, 5G and quantum computing.

In this seminar, attendees will gain insights into the best-known engineering principles and practices in VLSI analog circuit design, along with an understanding of the present situation and future prospects of the semiconductor industry and research worldwide.
