In memory of our esteemed IEEE AUST Student Branch’s webmaster, 𝗔𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻, who passed away on December 17th, we organised a heartfelt event on December 25th to honour his legacy. Our initiative involved providing 𝟭𝟲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗤𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, along with a 𝗼𝗻𝗲-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹 of 𝟴𝟬-𝟴𝟱 persons supported by generous donations from our dedicated 𝗜𝗘𝗘𝗘 𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶.

With contributions from volunteers, faculty members, and alumni, we collected donations to fund this event, in addition to utilizing the IEEE AUST Student Branch fund.

The volunteers from IEEE AUST Student Branch collaborated closely with the Madrasa to coordinate and organize one meal for 80-85 students, ensuring a smooth process from initiation to execution. The 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻 took place before Zuhr Namaz, followed by a 𝗱𝘂𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗳𝗶𝗹 after the prayers.

Ayon Raihan’s entire family, including his mother, grandmother, and other relatives, was present throughout the event, expressing their joy and gratitude for the thoughtful arrangements. Ayon Raihan’s mother handed over the Qurans to the Madrasa students. This event served as a meaningful tribute, uniting our community in honouring the memory of a cherished member.

May the Almighty grant us the strength and power to continue such meaningful work in the future, and we remain hopeful for the support of more individuals who will join us in these pursuits.
