The International Young Professionals Activities Conference (YPCon) 2023 was held at the Long Beach Hotel in Cox’s Bazar and featured hybrid sessions from December 13 to 15, 2023, organized by IEEE Bangladesh Section and Young Professionals; co-organized by the IEEE AUST Student Branch.

Tamjid Imtiaz, a Ph.D. candidate in bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania, conducted a webinar on “Essentials of graduate study applications” on December 13 at 6:00 p.m. that covered important aspects of graduate studies applications, such as recommendations, experience, and writing an effective personal statement.

Another webinar, “Ins and Outs of Research Publication” was the topic of a session held by A.F.M. Saif, a Graduate Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, at 6:30 p.m. The discussion focused on effective writing, review processes, journal selection, and findings distribution.

Prof. Dr. Shaikh Anowarul Fattah, a distinguished scholar and the technical Chair of the 26th ICCIT 2023 & 10th ICPS 2023; concluded the session with his renowned expertise in young professionals.

250 attendees, both online and offline, joined—over 230 registered. The event was a success and ended with a cherished group photo with esteemed teachers and honored guests.
