IEEE Power and Energy Society AUST Student Branch Chapter is delighted to invite you to our first event, “Poster Pavilion: A Showcase of Innovation” as a part of the 6th IEEE PES Day 2023 celebrations in collaboration with IEEE AUST Student Branch. This year’s theme is “Powering a Climate Safer Future” to encourage the presentation of novel ideas and research on sustainable solutions for a better future.

This event is going to be organized by IEEE AUST Student Branch and IEEE Power & Energy Society AUST SB Chapter.

Our goal with this event is to provide a platform for students and researchers to present their innovative ideas and solutions towards creating a sustainable and greener future. We encourage participants from various disciplines to showcase their research, findings, and ideas, and to engage with like-minded individuals to exchange knowledge and ideas.

Eligibility:

• Currently enrolled students from any university may apply

• Each Team should consist of minimum 01 or maximum 02 members.

• Teams can have members from different universities.

Rules: 

• Participants are asked to design a poster that solves a particular problem on Global 

   Warming and Climate Change.

• Poster must be innovative and original.

• Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.

• Each team is required to submit a PDF document containing a brief discussion of their problem and solutions. (250 words limit) 

•  Poster and Discussion must be submitted separately. 

• Poster size should be 36 inches in height & 24 inches in width and must be oriented in 

  Portrait style.

• Each participant will get participation certificates.

• The winners of the competition will receive a crest, certificates, and souvenirs as a token of appreciation from IASB.

• The authority holds the right to change the rules as required.

• There will be a limited number of teams, so first come first serve will be followed. IEEE 

   members will get preference.
