This comprehensive workshop is designed to guide participants through the process of research paper writing, from conceptualization to publication, with an understanding of LaTeX, a robust typesetting system, and Overleaf, a collaborative online platform, as essential tools for effectively composing scholarly theses.
The workshop will cover the fundamental principles of LaTeX and the practical utilisation of Overleaf. Participants will engage in guided exercises to learn about thesis structuring, text formatting, table and figure creation, and reference management using LaTeX’s extensive capabilities. Additionally, advanced functionalities of Overleaf will be explored, allowing for seamless collaboration with supervisors and peers.
By the end, attendees will develop proficiency in leveraging LaTeX and Overleaf, enabling them to confidently produce visually captivating, well-organized, and refined theses.
