The event is going to be jointly organised by the Department of EEE – AUST; AUST EEE Society; IEEE AUST Student Branch; IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group; IEEE SPS & IEEE ComSoc Joint SB Chapter and IEEE Power and Energy Society AUST SB Chapter.

The lecture series is named after Prof. Dr. Abdur Rahim Mollah, who was the former Head of Department of EEE and Dean, of the Faculty of Engineering, at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST).

𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 is the process of managing various machines and processes in an industry through the use of control systems, such as computers or robots. It seeks to replace manual labor with accurate and effective automated technology.
The term “industrial digitalization” describes the process of incorporating digital technologies into different parts of industrial operations. Data analytics, connectivity, and smart technologies are used to improve productivity, efficiency, and decision-making.

The industrial sector has become more dependent on digitization and automation for a number of reasons. This seminar serves as a crucial platform to comprehend the significance of applying Industrial Automation and Digitalization specifically in the context of Bangladesh. Participants will gain valuable insights into tailored digitalization strategies addressing the nation’s unique industrial challenges.
